How should I grow in my location

A little information goes along way in my opinion so first ill give you the run down of what i got.
I live out away from people but i have a 8x8 room in my shop. id like to turn this into my grow room, but it the building has little to no insulation and the summers get hot here ( 110+ F) with a humidity of 0. Is that exessive heat going to be really harsh on my plants or how would i work on keeping them cool?
Second what type of lighting would work for such a large space? i mean, i think id lose alot of the light intesisty wouldnt i?
Third what would be a good plant that would keep up in the heat? I did a little research and im kind of fond of the nother light plant right now. but again, this would be my first grow.

Any and i mean any input would be awesome.

How should you set up? Depends on what you want to end up with, and how much money you can spend. If summer temps are regularly that high, I'd try to figure a way to keep them lower...insulate the room or divide it and insulate just half, get a portable AC, something. And i wouldn't skimp on lights especially in flower....that big a room could easily accomodate one or more 1000W HPS lamps. Ventilation will be a must. Good luck

How about two air cooled 600 watt? Heavily insulate the whole space, buy the biggest vent fan you can afford and the biggest portable air conditioner you can afford and set aside part of the space for a mother plant and clones under t-5 lighting....you might take a look at Jorge Cervantes Indoor growing guide too....Controlling all the aspects of the environment is your job. The less wide ranging fluxuations the more consistent your results will tend to be. High temps can slow growth and fry plants if not well irrigated and ventilated. Don't forget the circulation fans either, got to keep the air moving in general. Happy gardening! GrowIT!

Your room will support 4 1000, each light will cover a 4x4. Keeping the light 12" away from the plants using 8" cooltubes will let you grow plants 3 to 5 feet tall. If you go 5 feet the bottom foot won't grow much because the light won't get down that far. So you lollypop them. (trim the bottom 12" to help with cooling, use it for clones).

I have run the 8" fan and four 8" cool tubes for 2 years with no problems, the hottest it gets around here is maybe 95.

Northern lights is a great choice for a grow, easy to clone, easy to grow, ready in 52 to 65 days and it's a great smoke. Being an Indica it has a narco effect. Couchlock.

I don't know how well it would do in 110F you might want to look for a plant that grows in that hot a temp.

Best of luck
