Common watering schedules are 200ml every 2 days. I have found that cannabis plants LOVE wet/dry periods, water them a little everyday for 3 days, then let the pot dry out almost completely, 2 days or so.. depending on the pot and plant size. Then continue watering at a regular schedule, this little wet/dry spell seems to boost growth rate.. which I assume comes from the sudden growth in roots due to the dry spell, the plant searches for water. I've actually let one of my pots dry out from 3 days or so, it was bone dry, that plant grew 3 inches over night (lights on 24hours), I almost tripped.

Plants love to be foliar fed, mist the leaves with a very fine mist. They should be misted in the morning just as the sun is coming up if your plants are outside, or if you're indoor mist them before you awake your plants with their "morning light". Be sure to mist the undersides of the leaves. Obviously don't mist while the light is on because you will get water on the bulb and possibly break it, and the stoma are open in the plant's "morning".. being whenever the sun wakes it up, this I assume to is collect dew and moisture that accumilated overnight.

The reason marijuana loves the wet/dry period is root building. When the plant is dry, the roots go looking for water, ergo the soil is moved by the growing roots, oxygenated, and builds a better root structure. When the plant is suddenly watered after a dry spell, the larger root system explodes and sends incredible amounts of water and nutes up to the growing part of the plant. Wet/dry is the way to go with soil, 420thAve is spot on baby, i've seen inches overnight as well. no lie.

If you mist when lights just come on or even when lights are on you have a chance of the water drops becoming magnifing glasses and torchuring your plant then the plant gets weak and you will think things like to close to lights ect if your on a light cycle and can be there 10 mins before shut off that would be best time..

Another important piece of info that has served me well is to water relative to the plant. With small seedlings they need less water as their needs dictate. If you were to water every day then your pots would be saturated and they would suffer. Also when you repot try to water closer to the stem base and around. If you water on the edges the empty soil with no roots will not dry out and become saturated. Also not good. As mentioned by 420 cannabis loves it a little on the dry side and you can go a long time without watering depending on substrate, if plain old soil i usually go for every 4-5 days. If in doubt dip your finger into the soil about a knockle deep. If its dry as a bone down there water, still moist leave another day.
