How small can a plant be flowered at?

Hi everyone. So I have a few strains that I want to breed. Full Moon x Full Moon for more seeds pretty much, and Full Moon x Lsd for some new shit. I have two separate grow areas. I've read about people just pollenating one branch but since ill have about 15 other plants in the same room i really don't want to risk accidently pollenating the other plants. Especially since they're not all going to be mine. I was wondering if could simply take a clone off the female Full Moon, the Male Full Moon, and the female LSD and put them in my other grow area. Once the plants have all been moved to the flowering area and shown sex of course, then kill the males and let the females go on their merry way. So can i take clones off of flowering plants and then just simply put them directly under 12/12 once they root? Or even before they root which i would prefer since i wouldn't have to flower/veg/ then immediately re-flower them which i think would cause stress. They'll probably just be in one or 2 gallon pots. So i figured even tho they will be pretty small (about 6 inches maybe) since they came off mature flowering plants they will still flower. Is there truth in this?

That'll work just fine, I've done this exact thing you're describing. Only thing I've found is small plants don't tend to produce as many seeds as larger one's. Like I can get as many seeds from one branch of a larger plant than a whole plant flowered from clone. But it is a good method for making sure you get no accidental pollination. If you veg it for a week or two in a 2gal you'll get a nice batch.

Thnx, for the answer. That was helpful, i was thinking about doing just that also. Vegging for a week or instead instead of just waiting for them to root. If i take the clones off as soon as i notice sex then they shouldn't take to long to revert.

Yeah, if it's just a few days and you can identify sex they won't take too much longer to root, any more than a week though and they'll take longer to root and re-veg. I typically will take clones from known fems to avoid this but have done it

Thnx for the info. I really wanna do a journal for the Full Moon x LSD grow. I've started like 2, didnt finish either. First one i chickened out and didn't finish it. I get really sketched out about posting pictures on here. 2nd one i tore my acl mid grow and couldn't make it upstairs to take proper care of her. This time imma try to finish, even if it means i tak pictures thru out the grow and post em all at once after everything is in jars.

True, i'll do a test run. Whenever my Hawaiian Skunk Haze is finished i'll post kind of a final results thread for it. Since i haven't been able to find a lot of info on it. Its growing fucking beautifully too. Can't wait for it to finish. Might seed my clone of it. Guess I'll do it for my Strawberry Blue also since i haven't found a lot of info on that either. Both were freebies from Herbies.I let my roomate grow my last strawberry Blue. It was really good. Tasted like strawberries and had a great sativa high. I have a clone in flower now. Fucked my last grow up by using Earth Juice without the catalyst. It was fine thru veg then it flower everything went south. Couldn't repair it. But i have the catalyst now and everything is going terrific.

from seeds, 12/12 from the beginning works great. with clones, unless you have many many of them, best to veg. 12/12 from seed the plants will start flowering whenever they are ready.
