How tall should the plant be for flowering

Heya guys noob here got my first crop about 45 days ago. The biggest plant is about 16 inches and has at least 15 - 20 branches with their own growing nodes.

My problem is this, i know at about 45 days i should start considering flowering my plants. I, however, have 12 plants in 6 pots ( i know this is BAD but they were a last second thing for free and what can you do let 6 plants die). I have found that one plant can become dominate and one submissive but theyre all alive some are thriving despite being crowded some are bigger then others and some, for what ever reason, barely started tp explode. The root systems seem fine as the biggest ones are standing straight and tall at about 12 - 16 with many branches that have nodes of their own.

I have one retarded plant that was retarded prior to being transplanted its alive and one of the bigger ones it just decided to split into three different plants and the water leaves have now just started to grow with 5 - 7 leaves.

Well anyways the jest of my question is this when should i flower em?

I would wait until they are 18-24" high if you have the room. Too many people rush it. You want a BIG yeild? Give her some more time. Patience and room is all you need.

Yeah, your welcome.
Benifits of waiting are~ Plant is more mature, fuller, and healthy. Give her 36 hrs of darkness before you flower and then she will know it's time when the lights go 12/12.
Also Molases every watering/feeding 2 tbls per gal.
