Look pretty good to me. You can get CFLs pretty close and I believe the general rule of thumb is that if the light can be as close to the plants as you can possibly make it as long as you can have your hand between the light and the plant without getting burned/too hot.

man.. turn those cfls sideways and put some type of reflector on top of it. you can get them really close with a little fan but you have to check them 3+ times a day so they dont grow into the lights, just from personal experience. good luck
