How they looking!!! Any advice appreciated

Hey guys, its my first grow from bagseed and im 35 days into veg. im using a 400w hps setup in my closets. watering 200ml about every other day. I would appreciate any advice of techniques i should use to make the plants as healthy and produce as much bud as they can.

You got to get ride of the tin foil man!!! Tin foil is the worst reflector ever. I wood in the back you should just paint White!

What size pots are those?

Do you wait for the soil to be dry halfway through before watering? or do you just water that amount like you said?

You should water when dry about 4 inches into the soil. Water until 10 percent run off.

I agree with kotten. The 400 watts plus the tin foil is more than enough to burn your plants, its inconvenient to paint during your grow so i would recommend getting mylar if you have access to it. If not, smooth out the tin foil, learn, and use the advice on the next grow. As for now, what soil medium are you using? and how much space are you working with?

i let the soil get dry im still getting used to watering under the hps. i just recently upgraded from flourescents a couple days before the pics. i am using 50% potting mix/50% perlite in 8" pots

oh and the grow space is 5'X2'

plants are looking good. every other day is a good schedule for watering. sometimes you might want to let the soil dry all the way out before you water, letting the soil dry like that will help buil a good root system, when the soil drys the roots will dig deeper to search for moisture.

I see, yeah hps burn a lot hotter than CFL in my experience. How high is the temp/humidity in the room? Not trying to interrogate i just wanna make sure theyre not going thru any heat stress. would say with where youre at with your grow and the size of your grow room to let them go another 15 days in veg and then flower. dont want them too big nor too small. remember to use a high P fert. in flower. Maybe look into Fimming/bending your plants early for more yeild. Hope this helped...

The temp is ab 83 tops when light is on. Thanks i will definately look into to that. im all about more yield
