What are the most common ways the police catch growers?

I am really bad in this department and really want to get to know loopholes and stuff if I ever get caught

1) What would the best thing be to say to the police?

2) How do the police catch you, via air and stuff?

3) What will happen if I get proven guilty of whatever laws?

Lets for example say I was in the UK..

2) How do the police catch you, via air and stuff? They cant unless you got a big operation going. a small 1 or 2 light thing is not really detectable by choppers

got locked away for a stint and found out if you tell them "I DONT UNDERSTAND"!! to everything then you have to get psych eval'd and the whole nineyard because you dont understand your basic rights!!! you will prolly still go to jail, dont get me wrong but in the big pic you will prolly walk!

if your in the uk and your caught with a small personal grow you'd be better off pleading guilty that way you'd most likely be facing community service rather than jail time basicly hold your hands up to it unless you think you got a chance of getting off.
they do a fair bit of their work from the air its quite easy to spot the heat signature of a grow room from the air and i've seen quite a few reports of police raiding "hot" places only to find poor insulation or a wood burning stove and no greenery
if you end up being proven guilty rather than pleading then your gonna be looking at time inside how long depends on what your guilty of..

theres a good program still on bbci its a slightly biased look at britains growers but well worth a watch

thanks a lot for that reply, i've got a name of a decent lawyer just incase something bad happens, i'm only growing 3 plants so yano.. I would think of the possibility of just saying guilty, but meh i'll see what my lawyer says first of course

rules:


1) do not tell anyone about your grow!!!!

if you must you say you know a guy lives about 4 hours away that you get your weed cheap from cuz he grows.

that will explain the sudden influx of herbs


2) make sure you setup is safe. a fire, water leak or unforseen issue can get you busted specially if you are a renter.


3) never ever have any type of device on the premisis that can weight things like weed. they will say you are a dealer. Also no baggies and things for that nature

4) proper smell control is key or your neighbor could smell it and bust you

5) its recommended not to have weapons in your home, atleast in america thats commiting a felony with the possion of a firarm

yea the hardest part is not telling anyone


at first only my wife new

then i told my best friend

then my wife told her best freind when she was drunk

Don't tell a woman ever. They can't keep their mouths shut. Oh sure they will promise the world, but just as soon as they can they will go and tell someone.

I got blackmailed by a guy I thought was my friend. I gave into his demands then beat the shit out of him and quit my job and stopped talking to everyone there. All b/c he couldn't borrow my bowl! Now everyone that knew we told them that we sold the whole system to pay for the blackmail and they believe it

Yeh if you are only doing a small grow ,you absolutley won't get caught as long as you tell noone.I live with my g/f so only she knows,but i had to beg her for months to let me do it because she's so scared of getting busted ,so i'm pretty sure she will keep her promise to tell noone.And anyway to be honest i am not worried even if i do get busted,slap on the wrist at best ,few months in jail at worst np but i'd rather get away with it
