Get some organic sprays like spinosad and neem oil and use them once a week to prevent pests. Change which spray you use often so the pests don't get used to it. If you see signs of a pest problem spray once every 3 days, for 2 weeks to get it under control. Safer Brand Caterpillar Killer and Spinosad are both safe to use in flower and won't hurt people or animals. Neem is very safe also but only use it while the plants are in veg.

You can also sprinkle diatomacious earth to kill crawling pests. Sluggo for is good for slugs and snails if those are a problem.

Baking soda and flour mixed and left dry on a plate will kill grasshoppers when the eat it.
