How to beat the HEAT

Use anything white to wrap your pots. It will reflect 95 percent of the light (heat).

Dig a big ass hole, sit your pots in it. Freeze some 16 oz clear plastic bottles (3/4 full of H2o) in the fridge each night, sit them in the hole, next to, but not touching your pots. This will create a mini cool zone. Cold settles, heat rises.

Well I put the pot in a bigger pot, put mulch on the original and between the two. As a last measure I wrapped up the big pot in white paper.
