How to clean COB chips?

Hi all!

I use artic thermal pad and I'd like to know how to clean the chips and heatsink because I want to change the chips regularly (gro/flo).

du PQ ; essuie tout .. puis repassé avec un peu d'alcool si tu veux que ce soit parfait, pis a sec denouveau ..


English : If you just mean the back of it ; a tissue or toilet paper, optionally some alcool between 2 "dry" cleaning/rubbing to make it look brand new

i would advise against wiping with a substance that leaves material.....but literally isoalcohol can be wiped on just about every part of the diode and can be done regurlarly too....

also the datasheet of your led should have a little section on what you can and cant use around the diode.

Isopropyl alcohol, but don't grab the first bottle you find. 70% is real common. Shop around for some 99%.

If you're going to be taking things apart and putting them back together often, wouldn't paste make more sense than the pads?
