I use Methyl Hydrate (denatured alcohol/methanol) that you can find dirt cheap ~5-7$ for like 4 liters (much cheaper than buying little 99% alcohol) and salt

Yup, at Home Depot & Lowes they sell it in blue metal cans in the paint department.

It works the same, but is much cheaper per ounce. The entire gallon was only a few dollars.
