how to connect hps

i've got ballast,ignitor and 250W HPS lamp and i'm not sure how to connect them properly.any help will be usefull.thanks

they should come as a kit, you need the proper ignitor also

if you have these we can wire it up right now very easy

all the components are proper but i was not knew that i'll have to buy a capacitor.also on the connection scheme on my ballast have no capacitor.only the ballast,the ignitor and the bulb ofcourse :) .can i go without the fucking capacitor

well a capacitor is good, i have a 50w kit with no capicitor, but i dont know if you need one just to run a 250w but i dont think its necessary.

yes it is but i do not have any electrician knowledge and that's the reason why i'm asking you about.but 3 hours ago i sucsessfuly run the HPS :)

you need the capacitor because that gives the bulb the initial juice to start up. without it you may not get the light to come on

my hps don't work.last night when i try to run the bulb the light didn't came on.did i fucked the bulb up or it's because the capacitor is missing???
