How to cover flowerpot not to get warm under the sun?

Dear growers brothers and sisters,

Do you have an any idea of how to cover flowerpot for not to get warm under the sun?

You could put out some stakes and then cover with a sheet or a mesh material to give it some shade. Maybe a beach umbrella?

It is a guerilla grow so it needs to be not too much shiny material. Also should I put on top of the soil for not to get dry so quick?

place the pot in a hole. cover with white paper. paint pot white. place cardboard over the top of pot n hanging over sides a bit to shade sides of pot.
