but nongreenthumb hit the nail on the head..thats how most people cut holes thru wood.
the spade and hole attachment that goes to a drill is mainly used for doorknobs, but that would also work.
and yeah, you can rent tools from home depot to do the job.
hole saw and spade bit is for door knobs? I'm an electrician and i'v never used mine to cut holes for doorknobs...LOL....
