Apart from hanging the branches on a string what other methods has people used to dry buds, like DIY bud drying machine. Please note: I am not talking about quick drying small samples.

Paper lunch bag right from the plant. I only put about 30g wet in each though and put a few holes above the buds. Ive tried it a few times now and it works pretty good for me when i cant use the cabinet to dry.

I suggest if you want to know how people dry or cure use the search box...nowhere NEAR as many people will come to this thread and detail their methods when there's about 1500000 threads titled "curing" or "the cure" or "after harvest" or "best cure method" or "dry your buds". People don't tell you to search to be assholes, they do it because you will find much better info if you read established threads, rather than start another identical one.

I have seen many of these threads and also I am talking about "DRYING". I know how the "normal" way to dry and cure, I am talking about alternatives, techniques people use that is not just hanging the buds for 2 weeks.

I have tried some of the "quick dry" methods posted here and had horrible results. The buds had a shitty taste, harsh smoke, they were crispy and crumblely and on a scale of 1 to 10...I'd give quick drying a 2.

If your going to spend 3 to 5 months of your time and effort growing and flowering your girls to their max potential, why would you want to ruin them tring with a quick dry method to shave off a cpl weeks???

you don't hang the buds for 2 weeks. usually the hanging part lasts about 10 days. when the stem snaps, not bends, the buds are ready for phase 2, i use mason jars. open the lids for 15 minutes 3x a day. this usually takes around a month. you want them to cure slowly, and there's just no way around it. i've heard of people using those food dehydrators too.
