yea no shit u wont, they usually fry past 1100 a lot of the time but if u limit what u put in you never have to do anything just le them runout I feed 900 and under max 1000 when their in full bloom and drinking 4 gallons each plant. also you do know nitrogen in flower is no Bueno bc I use a light amount thru the whole flower period and the last 4 weeks I drop the nitrogen almost completely they don't need it at their point I can say confidently your one of the people that nuke their plants with nitrogen in flower @bk78 What do u think on feeding plants thru the whole flowering period aka ppm per feed and how much at weeks 7-9 in indicas that finish pretty fast for me I use 700 ppm until week 8 then I let them finish and deplete their soil before I harvest only water till harv they get beautiful colors very nicely fade out etc I feel like stressing them out helps them produce trichs and helps finish them aka starving them. idk that's my 2c

I'm going to still fade my plants I'm not going to flush her but I will only feed her water when it's closer to harvest time

that's the way to go at the end it really promotes the colors of the plants/buds and i noticed my buds to be a bit louder but idk I think that pre harvest hype

Just to answer the question of how to flush - Slowly pour three times the pot size of water through the volume of soil so if in an 11litre pot flush 33litres through. That was the old advice and original set amount to achieve a reduction in built up nutrients.

:-)
I agree, i only do a real flush if theres a problem and maybe once a grow at the end of veg to wash out salt build up.

BTW, 80 ppm on your tap water is pretty fucking good dude, i get 190-220 where im at and you can smell the chlorine coming out of the pails i run airstones in the buckets to pump oxygen into the water

this is the dumbest thing I’ve read today.

thanks.
Might sound dumb but it gets all the nuts in soil 100% out and also flush all beneficial bacteria that constitute your living soil. Just because you havent heard ir try dosent meean inlts dumb. The reason you don use clorinated water its because it kills beneficial bacteria and mycos in your living soil. Doing it at the end of flowering before harversting does inlylo this. I've been growing since 1995. Can't tell me there is something wrong wuth these plants that are 80 days old from seeds niw can you.

there's two types of elements in cannabis plants, mobile and immobile, mobile elements can move freely around the plants where they're needed.. immobile , well, the description is pretty much right in the word, they can't move freely in the plant, needed or not ..
saying that, dumping x amount of water through a medium such as soil is never going to do a thing to get rid of any immobile elements in the plants, that's not how it works, and it's even pretty debatable whether it has an effect on mobile elements in the plant or not.. i say no.. don't over feed, learn to read your plants and give them what they want when they want it, taper off feeding towards the end of the grow, plain water the last week or so is fine..
lastly, the most important step in any grow is the dry and the cure.. people who think that not flushing leaves a chemically taste in their buds more than likely aren't doing one or both of those things correctly, which leads to poorly smoked and tasting bud
