Bailey,
Yes. Your card will still be valid (you can grow) until you renew your card. Then we won’t give an authorized to grow card to you if you live within 25 miles of an operating dispensary.

I'm pretty sure he is correct. If you card says 'authorized to cultivate' at the bottom, then you are good till you renew. Then the state looks at your addy on an overlay and if you're in the 25 mi zone (I believe it's as the crow flies) you will NOT be authorized to cultivate.

*2 birds, one being the copy*

How does the.law define operating dispensary? This is the crux of all this. Arizona organic is approved to operate but they are not open and dispensing any medicine. This is creating a denial of access to any patients whom are denied authorization to cultivate. If this is the case then the state will shut down the whole program very easily by making the laws impotent at providing medicine. A dispensary opens for operation say and then they get raided by the dea who steals everything from them. They are as in operation as this new dispensary is. If this is allowed this does not bode well for any patient or dispensary.

AzMMA says when a dispensary is approved to operate (the approval comes from AzDHS) all folks within 25 miles are SOL...

I just wanna say that there are some dispensaries in the Bay Area that grow their own product on site. Most of these "clubs" have strains that are signature strains (from them only) . In addition, the places I am speaking on carry excellent products. Emerald Crossings in San Jose is an excellent example. Dispensaries that grow on site have very compassionate pricing as cost is kept in house vs. paying growers outside of their company. Pot is hard to grow.... well. Anyone can plant a seed. Nurturing it and causing it to flourish is a gift. Bugs, molds, mildew, nutes etc. This shit will NEVER be rock bottom cheap. So...... with that being said......

One thing to keep in mind is that if you are going to have a dispensary and serve customers, you must have good products. It's not like these shops are going to sell some weak ass, poor quality stuff. I am willing to bet my left thumb that 50% of anyone that opens a dispensary in AZ has some sort of ties to California, Colorado, or Nevada. Or other places not even bordering the great state of Arizona. Meaning, they no how to run these with success and reputation. It's not like "Joe the gangbanger" and "Tim the thug" can set up shop with some bammer ass weed. These clubs are owned and operated by people who know, or have access to people who know their horticulture.

That's all I have to say about that. Fear not Arizona! You have too much sunshine for this to not work out! and I have gotten plenty of excellent dank comparable to Cali weed out there. So everyone chill.
