Now, now children! It is rude though; to say try a search. It could be old information and something new could be available now. Please, grow up. This is my first post and I could not believe what I was reading and had to comment.

I have been dealing with an infestation and basically getting rid of the mothers and just dealing with the clones and new seedlings because I can not get through the thick foliage to spray well enough. I am using neem oil and will be using worm casting tea. In addition I am now planting onions and chives around the plants. Aphids do not like these plants and it should prevent future problems.

cleanliness is next to godliness, vaccuums are cool, so are spray bottles filled with 1/4 bleach and 3/4 water, getting rid of mothers would greatly benefit you, if that is the case. take a bunch of cuttings and discard the moms and be relentless and meticulous about growroom conditions aka cleanliness. also once you take the cuttings, i would suggest you could go the natural route ..... sns 217 is good natural shit, main ingredient is rosemary extract, good smell too.... and for all out chemical warfare.... go with this shit called forbid. go to the growshop and ask then to break you of a lil bit from their stash cuz i dont think you wanna pay 300+$ for a 8 ounce bottle...... it is a pesticide mind you...... but care care of the problem with it while in veg and let them flower out mite free. just dont spray them with the forbid while in flower, unless you want flowers that cause third legs to pop out of your ear while smoking them.

p.s. being rude throughout your whole life will turn you into a worthless shmuck to society and also it doesn't make them panties drop any faster. so chill out, smoke one, and contemplate your next move... hopefully once you reached your certain point of chill you will realize that it is fun, happy people who make the world a good journey, and rude shmucks are just speedbumps in that journey who usually get dealt with unless they have been dealt with already, some people no matter how much you kick in their face, they will always be so far engrained with rude people DNA that there is no use to beating it out of them, that certain rare breed that somehow evolution fucked up and made into a supershmuck. who's with me?, can i get a FUCK YEA ?

Im letting the cat out of the bag, I dont know why no one has posted this but, the most effective way to kill spider mites is the organic way! no shit. Go to your local health food store and get these three essential oils mix with water and you have the most effective softbody insect killer there is.

At my store they come in 2 oz bottles.
Neem oil 1 oz (make sure it is pure neem, and not neem in a carrier oil)
Rosemary oil 1/2 oz
pepperment oil 1/2 oz

remove about 4 to 5 oz of water from a gallon and pour in the oils and use an emulsifier to hold the oil in suspention, I like to use dawn dish soap, it breakes down oil as well as anything. Keep adding soap until the oil is broke down and the presents of a few bubbles are there after shaking.

There is nothing on the market, chemical or not, that does a better job killing softbody insects. Less than 10 dollars will make 2 gallons. It also smells nice due to the pepperment.

Always shake the hell out of the gallon before use.

A month ago I had some serious gnat and spider mite problems. Long story short... "doctor doom spider mite knockout" for the leaves and crushed up mosquito dunks for your growing medium. Also, a 'hot shot no pest strip' in the grow room does wonders. These problems occurred 4-5 weeks into bloom. my harvest was unaffected. I'm bug free today.

The mites are easy, spray with mighty wash, the gnats are easy too, if in soil use nematodes Or just let your shit dry out real well. this will kill larvae but you'll need to deal with adult so they don't lay eggs in your soil (asumming you're in soil) , def mighty wash for the mites though.

I'm very skeptical about the pest strips, I left one in veg then moved my shit to flower, I looked shit over and found at least one mite and eggs even after constant exposure to the poison I have no idea why you'd wanna put so late in flower. again, mighty wash, very late in flower is fine, its not poison.

Ask yourself how is it that those Hot Shot strips work... The vapors release into the air and kill any flying insect, so by default that poison is also coating your buds, that you will burn and inhale. The shit they use in those is so toxic and carcinogenic that that is the only product which that chemical is allowed to be used in. No bueno.
