How to get thick stalks and stems. Short and bushy.

LOL to late I think as it's the last run of this strain and it's almost finished (outdoor) so missed an opertunity for a test ..... Oh well. Had an epic storm last week and it laid half the plants down, spent the day tying the branches up to whatever I could find but it's the bushy pheno that seems to have the most issues and the tall stretchy one's are still standing strong ..... Calling for possible tornado's tonight .... Fuck!!!!

Igrowdit. Lmao. Love the avatar. Blue light makey strong veggy plant. Keep em close and blue. Yea.... thats it. Then we make red light for flowering fantastica. I will post pics of new grow started later. They are in supersoil. No nutes. Super skunks mainlined and kinda supercropped. Short and stalky. If u top them right it helps stem development too.

Ok here we are. Each plant is mainlined to 8 tops. I only have room for 2 plants. Rally 1 would be better but my room is about to change to a much larger space for flowering. So to answer the strong stem question is multifaceted. Good size container. 8 gal or more. Proper topping or mainlining. good roots. blue light and close lights will tighten up nodes. Tons of tutorials on net. Good genetics. Like these sensi super skunk. Critical mass and critical kush worked well for me too. Create a plant you can manage. It takes a couple of trys but once u get it. Its very satisfying.

Being urvlight down lower will keppnie plants shirt and stalky

My largest stalks were in large pots. 15-20 gallon pots produce some fat stalks. 5 gallon pots tend to not get that fat unless you veg them some unusually long amount of time. inb4 "Bro I know a guy who grew a coke can size stalk in a 4" rockwool cube. Yeah he vegged for 6 months but it's possible bro".
