Are you sure you are not just over watering? I buy nutes and use mediums to put fungus in my soil.

I know that there are harmful fungus that can be in soil. But if you have a strong beneficial bacteria and fungus colony in your soil.... they will and should take care of any pathogens or harmful micro-besties. Another reason organics is AMAZING

Water every 2 days sometimes 3 depends on how dry they are..i bought some reused soil from a Nursery it was probably no good.. i have a million things that are going through my mind trying to figure where its coming from..i been buying soil 4 plus years..Idk

I just need to kill the bad and then ill add some beneficial ones after its safe for them
