How to lower soil ph

PPM and EC meter are the same thing. Just need to know what scale your PPM pen operates at and you can convert to EC.

Stop all feeding altogether? I wouldn't, but I don't grow in soil so maybe someone else could chime in on that.

What PPM is your nutrient solution at when you water? It looks a little high based on the pictures. Slight nute burn on the very tips.

Unless it's the beginning of a potassium deficiency where the leaves can turn yellow and you will notice brown marks on the edge and tips.

I didn’t have any brown edges only tiny yellow tips from quite any early stage when I wasn’t even feeding. Thought it might be a characteristic of the strain since it never went crispy at that point.ppm is at about 1900.

How old are your plants? I’m no expert & new to soil but coming from hydro 1900 ppm Is pretty high bro.

Plants are autos in week 7. I agree they are a bit high looking at it. Do I just mix my nutes in my water, ph down to just under 6.5, test ppm then add more water to lower the reading. I’m bit confused. And will lowering my ppm I’m sort the issue. I seem to be chasing my tail all time. Things were going so well!

I just water because my soil uses microbes to break the food down for the plants. If I did feed I’d mix nutes at the correct ratio to get the ppm I was looking for so I wouldn’t have to add any water to lower it after mixing. I’d ph to within range after mixing nutes also.

I’ll let it dry out get the ppm down to say 900 /1000 and see how it goes then. Thanks for your advice. I’ve realised there’s a lot more to growing than I thought. Is there anything else you think I might need to watch out for or adjust maybe?

So you must be putting some kind of pH up down that is having an effect on your soil. Are you using organic pH up down
