  • so ive mixed with ice in a 220 micron bag with fresh leaf for 20-30 minutes..

    then poured through the 190, 160, 120, 90, 73, 45 and 25 micron bag..

my 90, 73 and 45 micron bags were empty.. only had 190, 160, 120 and 25 catch the resin.

    is this normal??

also new to the bubble bags myself. and when I did my first real run I didn't really get any in my 120 bag. had some In the 2 smaller ones so the trichs went through the 120 and really had none that size. My 160 bag was the fullest. (I only have a 5 bag set rather than 8 and did you do a few runs make sure you get it all?

First, no need to make duplicate posts. It's annoying, and be patient for a goddamn response. Multiple posts will get you fuck all
Second, you are in the wrong section there is a concentrate section where all your questions have been answered too many fucking times.
Finally to your question, I never use electric, more likely to introduce more plant material in to the final product. That's a small batch, a wooden spoon isn't too hard (aassuming you aren't disabled of course, if so my apology).
Here is my hash making process:
You will need:
2 buckets
Ice, shit ton of quality ice
trim, plant material
Spoon
Bags
Strainer or colander (optional)

First freeze trim. when you freeze the trim, It makes knocking the trichomes off easier and keep plant material from breaking down as easily. Put trim in bucket up to about 1/3 and add ice covering all the trim filling most of the bucket. Leave room for adding water and for stirring.

Stir for about 30 minutes, and get bags ready. I have a 7 bag system, but I only use three bags. I find that I get rid of most of the low quality hash and only save the high quality hash. Remember more bags more hash, is more lower quality. You could save the low quality for butter but like I said, it's more work for what really isn't worth my time. Plus more bags is longer drainage.

Now I clean my tub (this is where the second bucket comes in otherwise) prior but I simply hang three bags (220 work bag, 160 toss bag, 45/70 keep bag). Now the bags can vary based on availability, desire of how much hash you may want, or quality. Have bags in order, and slowly pour the first bucket into the bags. I don't mix in bags as it will easily break them or wear them out. I use the colander or strainer to keep ice and plant material out as i pour.

After bags have drained, collect the goodies and pitch the first bag and I pitch the second bag as well. All the goodies are in the 45/70 bag. Collect the hash and pad the hash dry with the small 25 micron cloth that should have been included with the bags.

Let dry and if so inclined cure your hash.

To clean bags, you can use ISO to keep them clean and remove missed hash and plant material. Also make sure that you dry the bags before putting them away.

thanks for the help, sorry for being a noob dude. is there any reason why my 90, 73, and 45 bags were empty? tossed the stuff in the 190 bag or was that a mistake? and to be clear do I run the water throught the bags more than once? surely its done after the first time?

Unless your running ALOT of material don't use all those bags your just losing product sieving so many times if its small amounts..run the 190 for trash or 160 if you want to keep the worst quality anyway, after the work bag I mean, then the 45 all your decent to good hash will be in one bag now with less loss plus unless you do have a whole lot its really pointless to try and separate it all
