Contract growing is highly sought after job right now.
So being offered the contract is already offering me my dreams.
All living expenses are covered. It's a live in operation.
Although, I'm slightly worried I might look like a greedy dick trying to make a quick buck. Which I'm not. I don't think I'd lose this contract to someone willing to do it for cheaper, but you never know... Until you see that guy wearing your shoes, doing your job.
I was just wondering what a good opening bid on a growers contract is.
I've seen someone drop 3k/Lb as a term of contract.
That seems way to high to me,
I plan on looking like a normal person and throwing out a normal number. Then they can return with their lower proposal and I can just sign and get this over with.
Trying to avoid coming off as a desperate grower longing for legalization.
Also, trying to understand how the work is paid for by labor used and not the product given...
What about 1500/lb? Anyone able to convert that to labor hours or w/e for a contract?
I feel like that is a reasonable number for them to start with. If they go with 1200/lb, I think I'd be in heaven.
