How to obtain good seeds?

I have been growing my own cannabis at home for 4 years now. I am now able to grow tasty buds and diagnose most of the problems along the way. So far, i have grown random seed from my friends. However, i want to grow some best strains you guys have and grow. In my country, cannabis is illegal and i have nowhere to get seeds. Probably, no seed bank can ship me. What can i do to have good strains? What is your opinion about this?

Prayers sent. Maybe continue getting seeds from friends and learn breeding and pheno hunting for a better representation of what you have. There maybe banks that will ship if your willing to receive

Some of the best strains I've grown have been free from friends and other growers.
Some of the worst have been purchased.
Not always the case but true none the less.

Attitude offers stealth shipping. You have to buy an expensive t- shirt or something like that in addition to the seeds. But it might be worth checking into.

I haven’t ordered from Attitude since like 2012. But the shirts were cool even if expensive.

it was around that time for me. tbh i cant remember exactly, it could have been even farther back.

where there is a will, there is a way.

usually i'd say go for one of the stealth shippers, but Turkey? i took risks in other countries with very harsh laws. i don't think i'd fuck with turkey.

Coming from a country where it's illegal myself, I get where you're coming from and don't often buy seeds online. It isn't usually worth the risk in my own opinion. But I get the appeal. It's always nice to have something different and new.

I think a local network is the best route, overall. It takes a longer time to establish. For obvious reasons.
But some of the very best seed you can find is always close to home. I'll always have that opinion.
Cherish what you have and keep stock of it. Chuck some pollen. Don't let it go.
That way, you can share what you think's special with friends. And return the favour in kind.
