How to plant marijuana seeds......

It's actually widely debated about. Some say point up for better odds, others say down and if it breaks the surface it's a survivor. I germinate my seeds in wet towels and put the taproot in soil first, but when I'm lazy, I just drop it direct into the soil and let it sort itself out.

Nature's way is to just drop it and let it find it's own way. Perhaps the problem arises when we germinate artificially then move the seed (usually taking pains to make sure it is oriented differently! lol

That's just pure logic. Nature would land the seed on its broader side than narrow edge. And on the paper towel it would be on its side.

Good info. But both ways will work. I notice when the seeds taproot is pointed down it will stretch more but easily fixed with a good t5 or cfl to keep short.
