thanks man. I was thinking about cutting off my exhaust fan tonight in case the power goes out, so the heat will stay trapped in the tent for a bit. Thoughts?

Home Depot has LED pucks that take AAA batteries. There are probably other options too. Rurumo is right that some excessive darkness is probably ok, but if you're able to, try and maintain at least a little bit of a light cycle, if possible.

I live in MI. Common problem. I have two generators now. As well as kerosene heaters. But a west or south facing window will keep you going. Just don't go over 12.5 indirect light. Hope it helps.
This was our 1 day late snow storm total.

to be fair it’s highly unlikely it will be out for 3 days. I’m just trying to prepare for the worst ya know. Most likely it will be out for 24 hours or so if it goes out.

I live in New England. I'm used to this shit. I've had to endure numerous power outages that lasted more than 3 days. I got a generator and installed a transfer switch. I realize you cant do that in 2 hours though.

An outage of a few hours is no big deal. A battery operated light wouldnt hurt.

Intensity is of no real concern for short stretch. It is the actual light. Refracted light through the window will out do any table lamps input.

I gotcha. I just realized that the window is behind my tent too :/ I don’t think much light will get in, if any.

No anxiety. A few high power flashlights aimed well will hold your flower. Better than no growth and bleaching. Just as much as you can provide and a window is the real goal.

A UPS (battery backup) can be used to run the air pumps and a portable LED lantern can be used to keep the lighting cycle regular. The big issue might be ventilation and RH% spikes.

you can buy a generator, and when you lose power you just shut off your electrical panel. Then you plug the generator into a 220v outlet and back feed your house or selected breakers until power comes back

Mid winter storm. Sure a window and a few pots of warm water will draw the humidity down while creating a decent convection current. 1 room. Tent. Not warehouse. LOL.

NO, NO, NO!!!!!!!! It must legally installed and inspected. You need a seperation switch by what ever name your pros exploit. But the point is you do not want to back feed a generator when power return or impose such loads on breakers or wiring. Research codes when installing to electrical service.

@Nizza this was a very poor suggestion as worded. Very dangerous.
