how to pronounce trychomes?

OK ,I've checked all my dictionarys(Webster's,Funk and Wagnalls' and OED) and they agree, it's try,like attempt, chrome,like chrome plated. So can we all say TRY-CHROMES?? Simple really, and not worth 3 pages of discussion.

It's for sure _try comes_ There is no R in there and there is no b but it sounds like combs if the B is silent as in what you brush your hair with.

I have watched a hundred video's, everything I could ever find on the subject with people mispronouncing it VERY often but the masters, and the High Times people, and legendary growers and cannabis cup winners are pronouncing it this way. I think they know, but many people that should know don't.


No dictionary is a proper reference for this word, what do they
know about weed.
