for those of you that use a 1 hitter(bat). as we all know the more it gets used the faster it gets dull.to re sharpen .
tools need
1. drill
2. metal file.
step 1. put the mouth peice in the drill chuck. that is tghe part that holds drill bits
step 2 make sure it dosen't woble. you want a smoth rotation
step3 try to match theangle of your bat to the angle of the file.
step4 turn drill on slowly. it will file off some of the bat keep goimg till its sharp again.
the only draw back is if your bat is colored like mine is it will be a different color on the tip after sharpening. mine is purple it now has a brass colored tip. looks kinda cool now. works great cuts through buds like it was new again. hope this helps some one. it is an easy fix to an old dull bat.
reminder to orentate the cutting ege of the file to the rotation of your drill. if you don't see little flakes comming off your bat turn the file around. i think most drills rotate clockwise. so you want the cutting edge of the file on the left side of your drill & bat so as it rotates it cuts small peices off.
important don't. rev your drill to full rotation go slow
this has been tested i have done it on many dull bats after its cuts easly through your unbroken buds. it will still be hard to cut through the rock hard buds but if they are still moist it cuts through easly. hope it helps some one
