Thanks. I based it off an old members design but he bungied it to the lid. I like the nylon nuts and bolts. More secure and just as easily removable.

May be a silly question but when you adjust the branches under the screen do you pull the bent ones back up after a certain time or will it just grow thru the screen and everything under the screen gets clipped? And also is it possible to use those clippings as clones? To your knowledge. Thnx..

I've got a scrog starting up but it ain't as fancy as some of the screens here.
What I like to do is buy a couple of reservoirs exactly the same. Fix my screen to the lid of one reservoir and when it comes to nute changes simply mix up my nutes in the second reservoir and then swap the lid over.
This should work whether you have 1 dwc or 20. Just have one more reservoir than the number of dwc under lights and you can change on a rotating basis.

I used a 1" line w/ inlets to connect a 5g to a 3.5g bucket, ran a weak ass magdrive pump to keep it circulating back to grow bucket...
Worked like a fucking charm....
Best part, I could fill or empty the system from the smaller bucket, drain using the pump for nute changes.
The whole damn grow I never needed to open the lid on the plants bucket. If not for the water pumps, I would set all 12 of my plants up this way, or at least the flower room...

Old post, but came across it in search of something completely unrelated.
The simplest thing? Drain plug or drain tube. Use this drain/feed tube on your buckets.
If you have the height, raise the bucket up to fully drain through the tube. If not, drain as much, add plain water until it runs clean. Done

Thats the water level / drain tube from the general hydrroponics waterfarms. They are real cheap and you just need to drill the hole in the bottom with a spade bit and pop in the grommet and you're good to go. It will drain pretty much all the solution out. They are around $5 each give or take around the web. The whole waterfarm plumbing kit is around $8-$15 on the web as well. It is powered by air from an air pump. It will also allow you to see how much water is in your bucket without lifting the net pot.
I was referring to the second post in this thread from bagada. The plastic scrog fence/net with the 4 angled plastic legs that attach to the bucket lid. I made something similar out of a large wooden quilting ring and some fencing but finding something that worked for the legs was a pain in the ass and I ended up scrapping it for a trellis.

I have dwc, I just lift the bucket lid and let the bubbles and gravity mix what I'm adding. Honestly no problems and roots are white and massive. I add a tsp of epsom salts every other watering and no cal-mag deficiency. Tent gets to 81f tops and bottoms out at 64f. One dwc scrog fills a whole 3x3. I think if you were using coco you will be pleasantly surprised the double speed this works.I have been a long time scrogger with coco since the start I have changed the type of wood I have used multiple times in order to still be able to get my watering can under the screen.
Ever since seeing DWC I have considered leaving coco and doing a bubble run I want to be able to screen though and don't see how I will be able to lift the net pot up and change my reservoir if the plant is being scrogged at the same time. I have seen many great tutorials on this, shout out to VoidObject for your post it was very informative you made it sound nice and simple.
Anyways, I have not seen a thread where someone has actually asked how one would pull off a DWC scrog hoping I can get a multitude of opinions on the matter. Another shout out to bluberry for trying to explain how he used an external res that pumped to his res under his screen I just don't understand all the small little nick knacks that the system involves it seems like I need to study the plumbing section in home depot to get a grip on the subject
