Been contemplating making this thread since I've been on this site, so let's start.
Price of 1 gram X 28 (Grams in a ounce)/ by denominator of the fraction of the ounce X .65
Examples for 1/2 an ounce.
For my East Coast people:
Ex:1g=$20X28 (560)/2=(280)X.65=$182. I personally was paying $190. Remember this is just an estimate.
For my West Coast People
Ex:1g=$10 x28(280)/2=(140)x=$91
Once you have you're product move to step 2
Once you get to buying at least a QP at a time, you are ready to distribute.
Pros:
Less buyers
More Money
Less buyers is actually good because that is less people to snitch on you. Buyers should be buying no less than a 1/4 or 1/2 oz. If you are buying a QP for $1200, you can still sell your sellers an ounce for say 350. That means you can give your sellers a good price, and still make alot of money. The best part is your sellers will also be making money and succeed with you, so there is no need to be greedy. Eventually they will be asking for a QP each, and by then you will be buying pounds.
Flowchart example with 1 grower, 4 distributors and 8 sellers.
STEP 1: Getting The Product
Don't even both starting with less than a half ounce, anything less, and you won't make much. Get a reliable source that is consistent with both the product AND the price. Some dealers will slowly raise their prices once you become dependent on them. I can't tell you a specific price, as it will fluctuate based on state, but to find out if it is a good price use this (Made it myself )

Step 2: Building a Client Base
Please sell to responsible users only. This has very little to do with age. There are people over the age of 21 that should never touch bud, and there are teens that can handle it. As a seller, you should know if someone can use it responsibly.
Never sell to anyone you don't know. If you are getting asked by people, just asked who referred them, then ask that person if they did.
NEVER RIP PEOPLE OFF new sellers will try to make a few bucks by ripping people off. This is a horrible idea for long-term sellers trying to make serious money. You will piss people off which means bad rep for you as a seller, meaning less new customers and the loss of present customers. Also give straight bags. If you are buying at least 1/2 an oz. then you will never have to rip anyone off to profit. One thing I learned is that people talk, which means that by being friendly, giving straight bags, and being consistent, new people will become buyers everyday because they were told you give straight bags. One of the best moves you can make is by doing good deals, always give extra, or lower the price for a first time buyer. After that you can go back to regular prices.
Example:
Say you pay $190 per 1/2 oz and make $50 every time you sell all of it. After sales, you will have enough to buy an ounce at a time for $340. You now went from paying $380/oz to $340/oz which means you will make another $40 on every ounce you sell.
Example 2: Say you've been selling for a few months now, and by turning over an ounce a few times you have enough to by a QP (Quarter Pound (4 ounces)) You can get the QP for 280/ounce(1120) due to you getting more of a wholesale price. This means you are now paying 280/oz. Here's why buying large amounts is more important. Let's say you went from buying an oz at a time for 340, to a QP at a time for 280/oz. Even if you are only still moving an oz/week, you go from profiting $140/week to 200/week, without selling anymore than you currently are.
All I got for now, plan on adding the Distributing part (Where the real money is) later on. Any, and all comments are appreciated. Questions will be answered quickly and this thread will be constantly edited.

Step 3: Improving
Every 1/2 ounce you sell, you should be making $30-$100. Instead of spending the profit, use it to buy bigger amounts. Every 3-5 you sell out, you should be able to hit a new amount.
Example:
Say you pay $190 per 1/2 oz and make $50 every time you sell all of it. After sales, you will have enough to buy an ounce at a time for $340. You now went from paying $380/oz to $340/oz which means you will make another $40 on every ounce you sell.
