how to set up these lights????

hey everyone. well i got a new grow room starting up soon it is 4x8x8 whould like to get 8oz every two weeks. if i could get 1oz off each plant..i mite use my auto ak x hindukush..or some good bagseed or both
anyhow heres my Q: if i wanted to cover the floor and do a flat graden..how much light do i need to get that 8oz every 2 weeks...this is what i have 2 -400watthps, 1-1000wats mh, 2-400watt mhs,or 2 150watt mh...i dont want to use to much power but if i can get the 8oz i mite think about it..what do u guys think? what lights to use and how to set them up?? please give or input it will help me verymuch thanks....

get 2 400 watts to perform a sea of green with 2 3x3 trays..1 400 watt over each tray and have a couple of mother plants to take cuttings from every 2 weeks..id say get a 150 or 250 mh or hps for that. what ou want can be done you just need a place for your mothers and fill 1 tray with 20-25% of clones,so that way every 2 weeks you are adding new clones and moving the older ones over in a clockwise position until they are done..

kool so do you think the 400s will do the job?? how many plants under one 400?

so i mite get away with harvesting 5 plants at a time.......

yeah you can get away with harvesting 4-5 plants each time..

does anyone have a link to a thread on a DIY reflecter for my two 400s.. i guess i can cover a 3x3 spot with each 400watt...but i need a cheap reflecter..i was thinking AL.Bs bat wing...but i want to see somemore...thanks again..

Wow man i hope oyu can get this going. i was gonna do something like this actually but i stuck to just harvesting 16 plants every 2 months and then maybe upgrading to 25 plants every 2 months. i just hope i can make it last ya know.lol

Is natural lighting or artificial lighting better for an indoor plant?

both are good actually..but indoor plants get artificial lighting because they are indoor..if you are using the sunlight then you dont need to grow indoors unless the seasons changing..but to answer your question natural light is better than artificial lighting

im going to hawaii for a week so as soon as i get back ill start the grow...i grow some bag seed in a cab and i just got done im going to chop them girls down any day..i wasnt to happy with the stavia i grew it was airy ill see when it drys..the indica came out real nice i only grew two..but i have some more of those seeds i really want to breed it in to a better plant...its some good bud..when i start the new grow ill post some pics...thanks and peace

As far as lighting goes, id spend the cash on some cool tube action, and set up your MH lights. Do two 400w MH on top hangin over the plants, n the bust your 150w MHs hanging vertically in the middle of all your plants. do a group of them in a circle, n hang one in the middle, n do another circle just the same way. N then come flower time, do the same thing, only switch out the MHs on top with the HPS, and then make a big ass circle with all your plants, n bust the big 1000watter in the middle of all of them. The Rule is the more light the better as long as u can get away with it, and if u got the tubes and the fans to do it, then do it man. If you want an 8oz yield every two weeks, you better be workin like a fuckin machine to do that shit. As far as cloning trays go, grab one of them that comes with the heated pads underneath, that way you can provide optimal conditions for your bitches.


Just be careful though, dont go blowin out fuses cuz your hurt for mass weight n fast, you might end up sacrificing quality for quantity too, if your not careful bro.
