How to start Deep culture Hydro (please help)

I know how the bubble system works and how to make it but what I dont understand is how to start the seeds do I hand water until the roots can reach or what I need the steps from Seed too roots touching solution.

you can start in rockwool until the roots come out the bottom and just fill up the tank, maybe more than suggested if you bought it from a store. otherwise just water it yourself, or dunk it in the solution every few days ....
