Actualy, a Forum is a message board which allows people to post pertinent information, such as Tutorials, helpful videos and write-ups on various subjects.

Sorry, needed to be said! Now the real reason I'm here posting is because I was looking for info on exactly this topic, leave net on or off, and out of ALL the responses, made my decision to leave netting on! One point I would like to make, though, I've actually broken roots trying to remove netting! I think at this critical stage that would be harmful to the plant!

Marijuana likes to be transplanted from smaller containers into larger containers after the roots have had some time to circle the pot. not enough to slow growth, just enough to fill the soil.

almost everyone on the advanced side of things (a few years growing...) knows the biggest growth spurts come after transplanting and when the lights are just flipped....

i start18oz solo cups ,then gallon pot. To a3gal to finish veg,and then 5 gal buckets.when ready to flower..kybudz

But IMHO i believe it makes no difference i have put some straight in 5gal buckets seemed they were slower vegging . But same weight as plants that had been transplanted.think i try lilside by side. Got me curious

I have never tried to take the net off as I would think it could do some major harm. When I was in college I had a plant grownig out of the carpet in my room (lots of moisture) and it seemed to do ok.......lol......that was my first indoor grow lol.

Also if you remove the netting you may risk damaging roots and cause more stress during transplant.
