How to trellis DWC 5 gallon buckets?

I have 6 inch baskets in 5 gallon buckets growing my plants. I am worried if i pack on too much weight i will break all my branches and end up with a plant on the floor. Unfortunately I have to lift my baskets and change nutrients every week so a permanent trellis isnt an option as the plants will have to be moved at some point. I dont have a drain and refill system. I have thought of a PVC "cage" around the buckets with a slidable trellis net that can move up and down with the plant as i lift them out of the bucket, but have never seen it done. Anyone have a solution or should i not even worry about it?

Oh and typically, if a plant can no longer support her flowers, because of weight stress, she will simply divert energy to other flowing sites. Once you provide support for the heavy flower , she notices that weight is "gone" and continues to build as originally intended. You can see the same thing in tomatoes. If you've got a heavy yielder, definitely support her.

You have to support the branches or you're going to end up with a lot of breakage. Should have bought/built a drainable system.

Switch your plants over to a Rubbermaid tub or two and rig up something like I did. Used a drill pump to empty the tubs thry a smaller hole for getting water/nutes in and out.

The tub sits on a dollie with little wheels so it's easy to turn around for tying down grow tips while seated on a 5gal pail.

This is a scrog screen you can remove to check your roots.. It can be done with an 8" or 6" basket lid instead of bucket lid.. A scrog screen works really well as long as you realize a scrog screen grow is a method of training a plant, and not just growing a plant through a screen.

I'll explain how that static reservoir next to the grow bucket works.. You can also add a drain to it to drain the whole system..
