How To Water with nutrients. Noob question

I bought the 3 part program from Advanced Nutrients. The Grow, Micro, and Bloom.

The chart on the bottles says to add a teaspoon and a half PER GALLON of the Micro and Grow, then 1/4 teaspoon of Bloom.

However, the chart that they gave me says that it is per quart.

My roomate filled a gallon and put only 1 and a half teaspoon of each into it.

I didnt think that was enough so I filled a gallon by adding 1 and a half teaspoon each into a quart, slowly adding up to a gallon. Thus, we will procede to water whenever it looks like it needs to be watered...

I have not watered my plants yet and want to know if I overdid the amount of nutrients in the water or if I did it right.

Yeah, many people have had trouble with the AN feeding regimen. (that's because AN spends all of its money on glossy marketing, and the "scientists" don't get the measurements right, but I digress...) They have a couple of incorrect charts around, too.

I would use 5-7 ml/gallon.

Take your super-strong gallon, and mix it with 3 gallons of water, and you'll be fine.

HTH

yeah when plants are small i always use half the recomended ammount, regardless of which brand, but yeah for AN its best to get the feed chart online and they have the converter so you can switch to gallons, or just think that a gallon is roughly 4 liters, i think its like 3.78 to a gallon but i forget
