"How Weed Won the West" Trailer

While California is going bankrupt, one business is booming. "How Weed Won the West" is the story of the growing Medical Marijuana industry in the greater Los Angeles area, with over 700 dispensaries doling out the buds. Following the story of Organica, a southland dispensary owned by Jeff Joseph that was raided by the DEA in August of '09, the film shows that although much has changed with Obama in office, the War on Drugs is nowhere near over. From Kevin Booth, the producer/director of Showtime's "American Drug War", "How Weed Won the West" shows how California could be an example to the rest of the country by showing how legalizing marijuana can benefit the economy.

I was reading some comments from that video and ran across this comment -

" The USA has a population of 300 million. China has 1 billion.&#65279; India also 1 billion. Russia has 260 million. The USA has more people locked up than India, Russia, and CHina combined!!! 2.3 BILLION PEOPLE! "


If thats ^^ true, something really really needs to be done. Seriously.

sounds like we are not really a free country

This country hasn't been "free" for a VERY long time. It's a shame, If our fore fathers were around they would definatly be taking a stand, but they'd get jfk'd in a heart beat and it'd all get pinned on some unlucky schmuck.


I know this is off topic but let me ask something, I say DEFINATLY but it's always wrong, when i go to spell check is says defiantly , wtf is up with that? I'm not that awful at spelling, maybe that's just one word i can't get right, like some people and ridiculous, not rediculous.

that movie looks real good. i wanna see it. i seen american drug war the thin white line. that was a great movie as well

That is a different word - it means "Marked by defiance; boldly resisting."

Definitely is what you are looking for.

I loved American Drug War so I am sure this will be up there. Cant wait!!!
