Anyone still around? Looks like the most recent post was about a month ago.

Well if anyone is around I just wanted to let you know. A new Non-Profit group was formed and we had our first meeting last friday. The group is called the NMMCPA or New Mexico Medical Cannabis Patients Alliance. It is an advocacy group for patients.

There will be a talking circle at Sandia Botanicals Saturday the 11th and we will discuss this and other issues pertaining to the New Mexico Medical Cannabis Program.

If there are issues you would like us to address or would like to join us please come to this Talking circle and we will let you know how to join the NMMCPA.

Do you, by chance, have a link to an online forum they run or a website that gives more information? This is for those of us that don't live in the Albuquerque area.

I can't make it to ABQ. I'm down South. Can you bring up the topic that the current legal channels for some cannabis products are inadequate. For example, I cannot buy decent seeds legally in NM. The reason this is an issue for me is that I have to grow my own to avoid the expense and mediocre quality of some of the legal marijuana that's out there now. I do not want to buy dirty, mite infested clones of mediocre plants either.

Not trying to be all negative, I'm grateful to be legal. I just want legal to be as good as the black market.

are you kidding? everyone pulls a bait n switch, or waters it down, i got an oz of bluedream last week that was 1 large blue dream nug, and a ton of bottom buds, and shake for the rest. i can find it, but the good stuff for me comes from los lunas, or cali. i never buy good local, its not around. i know there is a few good gardens nearby, i can smell the ozone in the air at night, and hear the hum im so self conscious of myself, however i do not know anyone, im a bit of an introvert and thus dont really know anyone around me.

I got a really really good strain of Critical Plus this last time. It knocked me on my ass. I was really surprised at the potency considering it came from a New Mexico producer.

hmm i just got "wizard" was a bait and switch. i ordered gdp, got a sample of gdp and this is what i got. and i have honey oil coming but its late as well.

Mine was supposed to be California Orange (which I love) but the producer contacted me and assured me that I would love the Critical + Which I did. I have never had problems of delivery with this producer. They have been wonderful since day one.

i get all of mine from the black market. i have yet to see anything decent from the dispensaries, new mexicann is a joke, minerva is terrrible, and swop is only good for trim to make edibles. and it costs more than the black market shit. i spent 300 on mine, not 340, and its good, just not gdp. and the gdp is only 300 not 340.. and the hash they sell at the dispensaries isnt even smoke-able. im getting solvent free honey oil for 40 a g.

hey malignant, come check us out at nm-mcpa.org. personally i think that the issue of quality is a very important thing to work on here in New Mexico. As a unified voice for the patients we believe it will be easier to get DOH to pay attention if we all stand together! New Mexico Green Light has dropped their prices on renewals. They were charging a little over 200 dollars and now they are only charging 100 dollars. Best money I ever spent. No hassles and I got my new card right away. :)
