freebies eh?
I checked some other peoples grow pics non of em look this dark, my grow tent has a temp dif of 10 degrees C, that should be the reason its getting dark as hell
Im willing to try anything, im in Fl so the temps are pretty hot. Its indoors and the AC stays at 72. Im willing to try ice cubes during flower to bring the temp down or a home made air conditioner.

its probly not cold enough I think you have to chill them real good to get all the purple out
it was not even close to purple before I started to introduce the 10 degree C difference and boom after few days it all purpled up!
i look up after i posted what 10 c was that's a 50 f degree different

I feel you brother I was growing in Van beofre and it was hard to get a big temp dif to make em purple
Then I moved to ontario and its like -35 C outside during night time
All I have to do is to open the window up a bit and there comes the huge dif in temp
Never thought I would like any about the coldness here haha :bigjoint:

Ya ice cubes around stalk bring out purple ur low temps are a prob u gotta fix that
I feel like they are liking it, not sure if it hurts the yield
I ll let it be like this for this run and for next run the temp should be up a bit and i ll see the difference in yield and color
cheers mate

i just cant get the focus right and its shaky so I cant really get a clear look..
Cut a small piece of frosty leaf off that is closest to the flower. Place it on a dark colored table. You will be able to easily focus in to see, plus no more shaking hand.

should i wait til like 20% is amber rest milky?
Your goal is to have as little clear as possible. Try and aim for 10% amber, 20% max as amber is when THC is starting to degrade. 30% is to much IMO. Keep in mind that the trichs will continue to "ripen" while your plant is drying.

so not sure which one it really is
I am pretty sure that this is the Dark Cream. I have grown out the dark devil and a few peoplei know have too. Dark devil is much more Sativa looking. They are much taller, multiple branching, looser fox tailed flowers. Yours is much more indica looking

Yw for the advise, glad I could help.

That is totaly your call. If my main cola was ready and I was only waiting on the smaller side branches, then personally i would chop the whole plant.

By harvesting only the main and leaving the sides go, you could cause much unwanted stress. After harvesting the main cola, she would need a few days to recover. During this time, any ripening and growth will stall. So It may take an additional 2 weeks total for the rest of the plant to mature, and maybe increase your yield by a couple of grams. Is the cost of your electric bill worth the couple extra grams?

Also, chopping the main cola could cause your plant to stress and herm on you. Which could be a problem if you have other plants as it could pollinate and seed your crop.
