Hps and temp questions

I’ve been working with a few led self built anyhow I recently came across a Nanolux de 1000 w hps for next to nothing . I have a exhaust 6 in inline in room room is 10x9 with 7- 2 ceiling in basement .if I Think I should run at 600 w -(but pls lmk your thoughts on also )what kind of heat am I going to have and do I need a ac unit also ? I see people with tents using them but this is open with a reflector does not have a cooling shield set up ? Or will exhaust be acceptable with the dehumidifier I have in room ? First season growing indoors

I have a 600hps in a 2x4x7 tent. So I'm sure you can run a 1000 in that room no problem. Just need to vent to the outside the room. 6" fan "should" be enough depending on the fan.

No hood just means you have to keep it further away. Air cooled hood let's you put it closer. Vents heat better.

I have 2 of the Nanolux DE 1250watt light and love them 2 lights 11 plants and pulled just over 5pnds of tight bud, they do get pretty warm I use an ac with 2 6in Ac infinity exaust fans it works but I need bigger fans for the size of my flower room. As to your question about running them at 600watt if you do that then remember it will be hard on bulbs so they say also at 600watts u will have a shorter life span on the bulbs. Plus your 6in fan is not enough cfm to regulate the temps in the size of your room especially with the Nanonlux and a dehumidifier running for the size of your room a bare minimum fan should be 670cfm then u need to add in the length of ducting the amount of heat coming off your light and dehumidifier etc so u should have at least a 800cfm inline fan so my suggestion is to get a 10in Ac infinity cfm is at 1050 on those fans better to have more then not enough when needed.

I ran 3 600s in an open 10x12 room air cooled exhaust out of room. However my lights were positioned in a 9x4 area. I supplemented with a/c after struggling with heat but my heat isn’t like others I consider 85 room temps to hot for my design. I typically keep temps in a 10 degree range with an average of 75. The ac is ideal in my opinion just due to the fact that you never have to really worry. Cause it’ll always stay dialed in

Commercial covers the 5x5 I believe

They are the commercial ones that do a 5x5 footprint I believe, the only difference between the 2 are the lamp shade, but you can also replace the shade if you only wanted to do a 4x4 etc plus a 3year warranty and a built in fan to keep balast cooler and I have the DTU/RTU units and lighting controller for them so my system is all wireless. Plus my fans ,Ac, and Dehumidifier are all on separate wireless controllers as well, so I am hopefully going to have a little bit less stress when I am not at home lol.

Nice the light I am setting up is a commercial unit but supposedly does a 14 foot span and only runs off 220 not sure yet if I can use a step up transformer -or if the 220 commercial unit will also run 110 and just not advertised as able get a lot of conflicting answers on this

If I am not mistaken the 14 foot span is when u have high ceiling like 12 or more feet I think, and my light also advert 110/220 but came with the reg 3 prong 110, but if it does come with the 240 plug in style I believe u can use a step up as long as it is direct to main 200amp breaker but u can also just switch out the plugs on light from 240 plug to 110 3 prong, but def ask a cerified electrician as I am def not one lol and if I am wrong on either front then I apologize. Let me know what u end up finding out I would be curious as well.
