Hey guys n girls. I recently bought a 600W hps lamp with built in ballast. I have no idea how to put this to an power outlet since I bought it used and there is two different cords coming out of the end of the light. Should I just connect a wire to both cords and plug both into an power outlet in the wall? I have absolute no idea. I just bought an Marshydro TSW2000 because of this problem, I have seedlings which needs at least some sort of light so they don’t fuck. Can anyone help? I will post a picture of how it looks

The reason there are two cords coming out is because one of them was meant to have a female "outlet" that is used to daisy chain multiple lights together. If you don't need that, then remove one cord from the terminal strip and wire a cord with a plug on the end to the other.

It looks like someone had the light daisy chained to another light.
1 set of the wires is not needed and can be removed.
The other should be power from wall socket...blue=white/neutral line...brown=black/hot line....green=ground line.
After you wire it up and turn it on make sure to keep a good eye on it for a few hours while you do a test run.
