Hps/mh 1000w working fine, turned off after 3 hours. Ballast still running

Everything was working normally. I turned on my lights and left the room. The lights were running for about 3 hours before I came back in and notice no more light but the ballast is still running. No other appliances shut off. No burning smell. Ballast running but no light. Changed light bulb and still never work.
Spec: 1000w switchable ballast hps/mh 120/240. Any clues on why the bulb went out while running

ballast type/brand?
I'd return it to the seller for a refund if its digital.

Switchable Magnetic xtrasun BAC100a model. That would be the easiest solution but I purchased it from someone. Obviously I can't get in contact. But I was assuming it's the capacitor since it was on and already ignited when i set it up but turn off for no reason
