Hps to veg 5 plants for 90 days and then pop outside.

So I got 5 northern lights and 5 og kush autos inbound to start my 5 plant grow. I’m going to pop hopefully 5 northern lights in and veg them, how big can I get them with my 600 hps before I pop them outside? I’m guessing about 90-120 days or so before I put them outside. How much yield do you think I can get? If any of the northern lights don’t pop up I’m going to replace it with a og kush autoflower about 3-4 weeks before I pop the others outside. It’s a 4•4 tent. Any tips I’m worried, how long will it take me to dry and cure?

Right. 1 plant would fill a 4x4 in 3 months or less

Maybe you can mainline them to buy some time. Mainline a lot of branches for a lot more time. 5 plants is too much

Ok so... They will start getting unruly around 60 days u are gonna have to top and train them accordingly. Love the idea . Make sure u use at least a five gal container to accommodate the roots . The potential for this could be epic. Best of luck !!

Also don't even worry about the curing and drying process. U are light-years away . Worry about keeping the plants healthy and manicured etc.

Ok don't listen to anyone saying top them they are AUTOS they don't respond well to topping since you can't put them into flower when every you want it stunts them too much just tie them down. And I see no point in vegging inside unless your doing it because it's too cold where you are

Your telling him to top an auto that's asking for a shit yeild only tie down autos

I guess I should buy 3 more tents since I only have two. 400 mh per new tent maybe. I’m thinking 400 because I dont really want to buy 3 new inline fans.

We're referring to the 5 photo plants that are growing alongside the 5 autos

I’m only doing 5 plants at a time since I don’t want the dea kicking my door down and killing my dog plus illegal to do more than 5. I didn’t really want the auto flowers going in the house for more than 3 weeks because of smell. Someone in my house doesn’t want the house smelling..which is my I chose northern lights and only veg cycle inside.

If you start with a 3 foot plant compared to a seedling outside at the same time won’t it have much better yield? By how much you think? Mid May someone told me is when it’s fairly warm around me.

Yes it will be bigger. What's important is having the plant you are putting out growing at exactly the same daylight levels it's going to be put into, including whether it gets all day sun. Mid may here is about 15 hrs daylight so if I wanted to put them out then I would be growing them on a 15/9 schedule prior to planting out.

What's the purpose of that? I have never done it. I have my outdoor plants growing indoors for at least two full months on a 24/0 schedule, then they go directly outdoors. I don't even harden them off.

I've been doing things this way for a long time with no problems at all.

He was talking about 3' plants. They are ready to flower and can go into flower when you put them out with just the type of light difference you are advocating. If it happens, its a royal pain in the ass, takes the plant a while to snap out of it.
You've never seen or heard of that?? Hmmm....well ok. That's your experience not mine.
What do you grow at 24 hour schedule? Is there an advantage? I run my cloner at 24 hrs but never vegged more than 18, less if it's goingg out early.
