What do you mean using it right? I have it hanging 20"- 25" above my girls, the temp stays between 82 - 87 degrees, humid. is between 40 - 45. 4 weeks into flowering watering every 48 hrs.

Doesn't sound right to me. Is that as close as you can get it without sending your temp too high? A 400 should be at least within 18" and with proper ventilation every inch closer you can manage. You won't have a clue about the difference until you get it closer. Then you won't have to ask what difference you can expect, you'll be noticing it every single day.

Don't be afraid to burn a leaf a little. You want that bleeding edge close and a little burn just tells you to back off a little.

temps getting close to the 90 mark. Stay under that, and you should be fine. Throw in some CO2 at that temp and you will be rollin....

Just try to up your exhaust volume so you can get those lower. The more you are in the low 80's or even upper 70's the better you'll do all around.

Bigger fan?

if i were you I'd get my temps out of the 80s completely..mid 70s is where it's at. high temps can leave you with more airy nuggets.

Hows the humid.? I would luv to intro co2 but i cant afford it, I read that yeast, sugar and water will produce co2, but no one has really said if that mixture really does anything.

I was in walmart the other day and saw 24oz cans of co2 for paint ball guns for $26, I just need to find a valve that would work .

Now I read MH is better for veg cause of the blue spec & HPS is better for flowering cause of the red spec.
