I dont see how a privately paid test that the tester has no idea what he tests will get tempered with....

ive seen this one argued from both sides more than once. Just read through a study that concluded no beneficial difference in cannabis plants with UV. I guess most of the articles on the benefits are from LED companies go figure

the sun does emit uv-c. our atmosphere blocks it all though.

I’ve never seen bud labeled or sold based off what type of light it was grown under. I’ve also never gotten different price points when buying weed that weren’t just obviously lower of higher quality, but again not labeled by the type of light or grow techniques used.

A good grower with good genetics can produce great buds under almost any type of light imho. I’ve seen great grows done with old t8 shop lights, with newer t5s, even with cfls, heck I’ve seen people produce awesome buds with old blurple LEDs. Obviously HPS, MH, CMH, and modern higher power LED all produce more light and will outperform any of those. More light(to a point) will produce higher yields, and less light can produce lower yields. Light spectrum certainly can effect things but it’s been proven less important then sheer photon volume. How those photons are produced is irrelevant.

@snakedope I’ve always been a HPS grower, I’ve never owned an LED myself but have been in plenty of friends grows and smoked the buds and watched 100s of them on this site. Fact is if you or your friends can’t grow good buds under LEDs then you just aren’t doing it right. My guess is you don’t have the environment controlled properly for that style of growing since that’s usually the issue. Every grow style and light has different requirements.

Like you I've seen 100s of led buds, all shit.
These are growers who produce fire smoke for over 10 years... what happend ?
On these forum you see it too, for every good bud pic there's a 100 hairy led bud pics...
And you know just from looking at them, no matter which genetics it is, its bunk.
And again that's just my opinion not fact so don't address it like one.

Can you post sum.of these hairy led buds, and maybe gettimg used to the change from hps to led is not as easy as it seems for sum peoples environment amd everything needs re adjusted.....

I for sure had loads trouble with my 100w vira spectra and after numerous trys with no knowledge of ppfd couldnt do it...... now with bugbee and an little understanding of ppfd am gona have a little go again....

Also can yous using leds show him some fire on them as we all no its not just the lights like @Thundercat says
