I use a 600 MH and 600 HPS, just looking into building a light for the fall. The prices for DIY using quality lights is still high here.

Most "color" strains I've grown from seed seem to have both highly colored and green phenos. You may very well have gotten a "green" one.Strange as my lights off temps were quite low for the most part. I do like the HB though. Could have let it go longer so perhaps it would have showed more.

Possibly, my last outdoor grow was a contrast of colours with one pheno being purple and one green and no hint of purple. I didn't realize head band was know for its dark colours

I've got one going right now. It's in the 7th week of flower and is starting to get pretty dark. My temps range from 76f lights on down to 70f lights off.Possibly, my last outdoor grow was a contrast of colours with one pheno being purple and one green and no hint of purple. Damn That's not that high of a yield but they look so sexy I think I may get a pack anyways lol.

I think it’s a pretty good yield for the plants only being 4 ft tall

The thing is that atm space is limited to 40x38. Furthermore both our plugs for green got busted. Had 2 random bag seeds outside but they weren't doing well. Neighbor has massive trees that shade the entire property by 2pm. They were doing so poorly that at 3 weeks of flowering they had to be brought inside. The total from those two was 5.5 zones. No desire to go looking for another plug. Can't waste space on stuff that doesn't produce. None the less it looks so nice that perhaps a pack shall be bought for storage until next spring. Also keen on lost coast hash plant and their lost coast OG. Tbh they're are so many desires and such little time lol. Need to move to Colorado and get 80 acres rofl. Seriously though.

I think theres 3 different phenos in the Black Dog. The earlier finishers are darker and have a louder smell and taste over the longer finishers.

Two main phenos side by side. The greener pheno does yield better.
