HSO - Chocolate Mint OG Outdoors

I have it just in a hole in the ground, didn't amend the dirt since it's great soil. So far so good on this gal. I ran her once before indoors, and the bud is fairly decent. My Gogi OG is blowing this out of the water but she's still pretty. Smells musty, not really chocolatey or minty, but not a bad smell by any means. Same smell as my indoor. No purpling yet, hopefully this pheno turns a little bit as the temps go down.

Overall...not too impressed with HSO's stuff so far. Was 0/3 on Blue Dream germination, which even all of my bag seeds have popped over the years, so not sure what to make of that. And the quality from the CMOG indoors was B- at best. The Cookies Kush from Barney's i ran side by side was much better. But now I'm invested in some Bodhi...not looking back at HSO until they have something worth the money. (Didn't mean this to turn to a HSO bash...just realized there's better stuff out there.)

Thanks for sharing. I am growing HSO CMOG indoors. Based on the plants I have flowered since I started growing, I can see this strain being a 'B'. However, it is still dank!

I'll add this:

This CMOG I have was a freebie. I am finishing up my first run of Monstercropped clones from her and the results are magical!

This strain has proven to be very forgiving in basically all aspects for my growing style and methods, light leaks, nutes etc. She also clones VERY easy. For that alone she is valuable and I'll probably keep a clone of her around for the next year or so.

Buds are lookin good :joint::joint: Whats the yield supposed to be like on the CMOG?

I started 5 HSO Blue Dreams and 5 HSO Sour Blueberrys on April 1st, all feminized as well (bought from AttitudeSeedBank) 100% germ rate via paper towel method. All 10 will be going outdoors the last few days of May. Was going for yield this summer. Hopefully they will turn out good.

Bought a pack of Chocolate Mint OG a couple years ago along with a pack of Sour Blueberry. Bought the CMOG because the picture was pretty...lol. Was really excited to run it, but then I got other beans I was really excited to run, found some bag seed, then bought even more beans I wanted to run. After that I, well, you get the picture lol.

The CMOG are still sitting in my seed case, and the Sour Blueberry just got popped the other day for outdoor. Now, I would like to put the CMOG out there too, but I already have 14 seeds popped, not counting autos. Don't want to go too big.

No problems with the quality of the cmog. Yeild wasn't too big, but loved the smells. inside it grew like a champ, outside it was pretty hearty. Never gave me too much trouble. I want to give hso another go. Next time I order fems they'll be on my list. I think I have a green crack cbd as a freebie. Maybe I'll find some room one day. I've got too much to get through now, and plenty of regular seeds to find some keepers in.

I've grown their Bubba Kush and it was pretty decent. Pretty good yeilder too; no fluffy, larfy, shit. A friend of mine grows their Amherst Sour Diesel and it is some really good smoke. Very thick, resinous, smoke that tastes like an oil drum lol. Humboldt is probably one of the better vendors in that price point.

I was growing Kannabia's BCN Diesel at the same time, I was growing the Bubba. The BCN threw out nanners, and my lazy ass didn't pick them off before the now tranny blew their load :bigjoint:

Point being, I have about hundred and fifty fem x fem seeds. Way more than I can ever grow out, or want to grow out. Just throwing that out there lol

My cmog hermied on me inside, and have a few seeds from that as well. Maybe 5 or 6 nanners, and I got a dozen or so seeds. One day, I told myself. Right now I have some bodhi soulmate and a freebie Kali dog finishing up, and bodhi lazy lightning, sunshine daydream, Oroblanco and blueberry Hashplant started and waiting to sex. Needless to say, my plate is full for the next couple months!

I did a hso bluedream last year outdoors and it was horrible. I had some good stuff but I didn't even smoke the hso bluedream. The real cali bluedream in clone form I did was sticky as fuck
