just got my first ordered gear in.
Got it from HTG supply. Ordered saturday and arrived today.
I ordered their generic brand 400 w MH ballast system and cool tube along with some fans and such.

Well they didn't have any of those in stock so they upgraded me to the agrostar for free with a better MH bulb included.
how sweet is that!

And these guys are about mary too! They even sent me a green lighter and a sticker! How sweet is that!

Thanks HTG! Can't wait to order round 2 from you guys!

Couldn't be any happier. My only prob is that I ordered 6 inch clip on fans. Their description was a bit misleading although the fault is mine for not double checking, but the fans are stationary. So I'm not sure how they will work. I got 4 to put in each corner. I'll give them a try but will prolly add oscillating fans in there as well. Like I said they have my business.

They answered within a day of email correspondence.
And the delivery was as quick as could be. I don't think 4-5 days is a bad wait. Especially when I'm not quite ready for the gear yet.

yeah right, 120$ for the hortilux eye bulb??? thats 40 dollars more than i get mine for....so much for best prices. I do admit they have good deals on some things but do your research on the particular item you want because odds are you can find it a little cheaper somewhere else

I think 180 for a 400 watt ballast light cool tube and adjust able hanger with their service was a fair exchange. ya I could have found cheaper. But other factors such as service and guys I can talk to and rely on make up for any difference. were they the best price. no. But over all I think it was the best value for everything i got. The rest of my order down the road. I have the prices listed out and they aren't on the list for a lot of things. but They won me over with their service. So I'll order the rest of my needs from them in the future.

The 400 watt from there looks like a great deal, but when I try to look at the prices for the 600's right now it will now show them.

Out of stock for the holiday season ?

i got my 600w hps/digital ballast/digital timer complete setup for 250 including the shipping. but it fuckin took 2 weeks to get here.

but i was really surprised they included a lighter in the package too. like wtf? theyre totally down for the jane

dude i drove like 4 hours to get to them b/c of their deals and customer service{ plus im not down for leaving a paper trail} i went in there and dropped like $500 bones and they gave me like 10 shirts, a whole tray of those badass lighters with the beer bottle openers on the other end and a crapload of stickers, plus he extended the warranty on my ballast to like 3 years, and the warranty on my bulb to 2 years, I <3 htg supply
