HT's projected most popular strains of '09

there's a guy we buy weed off of who only offers BOMB strains, most of them cup winners; super silver haze, purple kush, og kush, orange kush, cherry kush, jack herer, hashplant, SAGE etc.

the bud is well grown (large tight buds, tons of crystals) and even well cured, but every strain he offers tastes more or less the same (SLIGHT differences). the guy who grows it uses way too much superthrive and i'm pretty sure he feeds with pure chem nutes. i don't buy off this guy anymore because i'd rather get less popular strains that have better flavour and variety between strains.

one time another friend brought us some organic PK, and let me tell you i noticed a HUGE improvement off of the first hit. the high was WAYY better too. the smoke was better in general and the bud was cheaper.

strains don't really matter, it's all up to the grower and the style they've chosen. strains just help experienced growers understand what they're in for, and make it easier to select which results they want

I was saying that earlier, a shitty grower with good strains has shitty weed with a good name.

oh no, it's not shtty weed by any means, just mass-produced strictly with $ in mind. it's still some of the most potent weed i've smoked, i just don't see why he bothers with so many different strains if it all come out more or less the same
