Huge, flowering and beautiful but...

Hello! I am a newb and sorry if this is in the wrong spot. I have a beautiful plant - no idea what it is... Just took some seeds from an old bag of seeds and started going to town. Ended up with 3 male sativas that got up to about 5 feet so I yanked those as soon as I saw the signs and very early. Last, I have a what is now, a 7 foot tall indica/sativa mix (what I believe) and is about 5 feet wide. Lol. Was not expecting that!! It's been healthy and well taken care of since day 1... No added nutrients, just planted it where I had a garden a couple years ago. Planted in mid may, started flowering mid August. I water every few days if needed and check it at least once a day as i am OBCESSED with it. For the past few weeks ive Dialed down the watering the leafs themselves to prevent mold. Here's the "problem":

It is growing buds with a ton of hairs but they are small balls. It's about a month +/- into flowering and just wanted to be sure I am doing the most I can now. I have about 20 hefty branches that are all gaining weight each day. Again, just want to be sure I am doing all I can for my baby. Also, it's starting to get some purple in the leaf stem .. Which I'm guessing is from cold stress (gets to 50 - 60 degrees at night). Thanks for the help! Pictures attached.

Just to recap:
- Growing in ground in garden soil I made 2 years ago.
- 7 ft tall
- No added nutrients
- Lots of hairs but not looking "buddish"
- Doesn't smell much like MJ
- VERRRRY leafy
- Plenty of direct sun(7-8 hours)

Cool. So no need for nut's or parting the leaves or anything? Also I should add I am in the northeast. I ordered a mag glass to check the tricomes. Someone told me to let it grow Til first frost?

No you want to give it another month and a half at least.
If frost comes and it's not finished, you can put black bags over it so it wont get damaged.
Also for nutes... Not sure.. she doesn't appear to be hungry.. Maybe something small(very small).
And as for the leaves... look in the inside for any dead ones.. they can harbor bug colonys.

Another month and a half.. Wow. Wasn't expecting that. Good to know that she's got a lot of growing to do! Yea, I peek I side every day and nothing dying too bad inside. A little yellowing but have always read not to lop em off until they are dead dead. Should I be checking the tric's since I know that each strain matures at different times or should I just "let it ride"? Thanks for the help and prompt responses!

Ha ha, definitely. And thank you. Ya I've been a wee bit surpised... She just kept on growing and geowing... i have a tiny 10" crazy plant thats got only the top left and is sprouting the thickest pistils i have ever seen. Wish it would start growing up but i just transplanted it from a 8" pot a few weeks ago and the stem is purpleas purple can be. It smells like something strong and hazy. Any advice on that one? i cab snap a pick for ya if ya want...

My only negative is that I live along a very walkable neighborhood.. But what's another 6 weeks. Lol.

Thanks, will do. Wasn't worried too much odor wise (was just excited lol) just worried about the 7 footer and someone noticing what it is. It's got only two small vantage points from which you can see if but still... Night buddy. Thanks again. Ill post a pic for the am.

sativas normally have a 3 month flowering time, so you got a while to wait yet. I would probably start feeding with some light bloom nutes but if it isn't showing any signs of deficancy its probably fine with just water.

Niceolbud: Was 1 day away from harvest... Someone stole it. Left 4 bottom nodes bc they cut too high... Ended up with 3 lb wet after trim from what was left.. About 1/14 of what it was. Just looking for someone to vent to since you were the first person that I talked to on here. Feel like I just lost a child. Was almost 8' at the time.
