She'll be happier if you plant her at about a 45 degree angle, leaning toward the North.

There's a transplanting tutorial on page 38 of the linked thread, below.

It works very well.

Be sure the rock wool is completely buried, when done.

Trainwreck is my favorite strain.

THANK you veggie for taking the time to share such great information with us. i will definitely be FULLY prepared for that next season.
unfortunately due to time and expense, i will not be able to obtain all of those materials, but i do have some and a little extra...

this girl is going into planet earth with my others...
but if i started my transplant stage with a similar recipe...

GOOD potting soil (Armstrong nursery house product) Epson salt.. Fish emulsion.. some Bone meal? (Armstrong tomato plant food).. and then add LOTS of water to make it slurry form???
than add it to a Newspaper coated pot?
definitely no where near your recommendation but would it possibly give good results?

and @robdogg it is not from Progressive Options, i will PM you the information.

P.S... Trainwreck is my favorite strain by far. so glad to have it in my garden, interested to see how the cross turns out. should be a good yielder!

Hey Veggie! thanks for offering to help me i really appreciate it. this is my third grow ever, second time outdoors, and i still have a lot to learn.

I had one question about the "Slurry Method"..

according to Step Seven, of "Transplanting" in the book by Jorge Cervantes "Marijuana Horticulture Growers Bible"

-Water with half strength fertilizer containing Trichoderma bacteria or Vitamin B1. Soil should be saturated-not-waterlogged-and drain freely. If rooting cube an new substrate are not identical, pay special attention to moisture levels. Let rock-wool dry out enough so that roots penetrate new growing medium in search of moisture.

Im just lost and trying to gain information from both of you, cause you both seem to be phenomenal growers... and im new and learning!
Would you not consider the Slurry, waterlogged? if not is there a way to keep it from doing so?... or would you disagree and there are benefits to it?...

and personally, jorge's advice of drying out the rock wool scares me!.... if i add the Slurry to wet rock wool, i would assume that to be OK?

Thank you veggie

UPDATE, shes in the dirt!!... after debate with my Dad, we decided to only transplant her once to avoid any shock, and that was straight into the ground.

I added a bit of Epsom Salt for magnesium, and an organic EB Stone, powder veggie food that has AMAZING stuff in it (bone meal, blood meal, feather meal, bat guano, OTHER GREAT STUFF)

The dirt that shes going in, has a LOT of chicken/steer manure mixed in with it (looks really rich as well)
the dirt was mixed with this EB Stone gardening compost, (stuff in the picture)

after i transplanted her i saturated the soil heavily, and she okay as of now. soon she'll start being fed "BC" products, along with the others. ill keep you all updated!

advice and criticism welcome! eeer.jpgeeer.jpger.jpgerre.jpgerer.jpg
